Boys Ensemble
Jayna Jones, Director
Every Tuesday from 6:30-7:15 PM
The Boys Ensemble is comprised of approximately 25 members of boys whose voice is changing or has changed. This is the chorus for members with vocal readiness, maturity and musicianship.
Growing up brings exciting changes—and for many young singers, that includes a changing voice. The Boy’s Ensemble is a welcoming place where singers can continue making music, building friendships, and growing in confidence throughout this important stage.
In this ensemble, singers learn how to care for and develop their changing voices in a positive, encouraging environment. Through inspiring choral music and engaging musicianship, each singer is supported at their own pace while strengthening their vocal skills, musicianship, and love of singing.
Beyond rehearsals, the Boys Ensemble offers meaningful performance opportunities where singers can share their music with family, friends, and the community while celebrating all they have accomplished together. It's a place where young musicians are encouraged to grow, connect, and discover what their voices can do.
Eligible singers are considered on a case-by-case basis. The SCCC Boy’s Ensemble can help your singer continue their musical journey with confidence and joy.
The Boys Ensemble meets for 45 minutes weekly. Performance opportunities include approximately 4 events in the spring and fall.
